Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you offer a discount for Church, School or Business Events?

A: Yes. Please call our office to discuss your event.  We can send you a quote and save you 5% - 20%

Q: Do you have liability insurance?

A:  Yes.  We are insured and can provide proof of insurance.

Q: Do you offer Delivery?

A:  We offer delivery to Homes, Churches, Schools, and Businesses in Henry, Spaulding, Butts, Clayton, Fayette, Coweta, Newton County and some surrounding areas.

Q:  How long do we get to keep the inflatable when you deliver?

A:  We will deliver & setup before your event and pickup after your event is over on the same day. If the inflatable is available the next day, we may leave it for all weekend.

Q:  Do you offer tent, table, chair, and game rentals?

A:  Yes, but we reserve these items for our inflatable customers only for the most part.  We only have a small amount of these items and want to make these items available for our inflatable rental customers. These items cannot be ordered without an inflatable.

Q: When do you set up?

A: That depends on how many rentals we have that day. We will setup before your party time. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early at 7am.  In most cases we try to preset the day before.  We will call within 24 hours of your event to coordinate delivery logistics.

Q: We´ve rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?

A: No. Your inflatable should be clean when you get it. Yard Party Events cleans and disinfects after every rental.

Q: Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?

A: Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time while in use.  They can be turned off at the end of your event and will inflate back up for more fun the next day.   We do ask on the day of pick up that you turn on the blower to dry out any overnight dew or in the event the inflatable is rained on while rented.

Q: What about parks? Do parks have electricity?

A: We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a resonable cost. Also, parks are first come, first serve, so get your spot early in the day.

Q: What payments do you take?

A: Payment is due at the time of YPE Delivery. To help us avoid card processing fees and to keep our prices low, CASH is the preferred method (no cash app). You can also pay with a CREDIT Card (VISA, MC, DISC or AMEX), but the card must be available to be swiped when you get your inflatable. There will be a 3% Card Processing Fee for credit card payments.  We no longer accept personal checks as a form of payment. We DO accept business, church and school checks.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: No, but we do have a $50-$75 per inflatable cancellation fee.  Please check out our Cancellation/Weather Policy for details.  We require a credit/debit card to reserve all Residential/Business inflatables.  This fee is only charged if you cancel without giving us a two week notice.  We do not require a credit card from Churches or Schools.

Q: What about the setup space? Any special requirements?

A: Check the requirements listed with each inflatable. Also, make sure you have at least a 4´ access to the area where it will be set up.  Some inflatables can weigh up to 500lbs, so we need a clear path with ample room. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit.  Inflatables need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can´t rub against walls or trees as this may damage the inflatable.  The sizes listed with each inflatable include the space needed for stakes etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup. We also require an outlet within 50´ of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.

Q: What surfaces do you set up on?

A: We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), asphalt, and driveways. Sorry, we can´t set up on any type of rocks, loose debris or mulch as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.

Q: Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?

A: Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.

Q: Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?

A: Yes and no.  You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units.  Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time.  If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation.  If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars.  We don´t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
